Dry Fruits Kheer Recipe

Ingredients:


  • 1 cup makhanas(Fox nut)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 2 tablespoon ghee
  • ¼ teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup toasted and roughly chopped mix dry fruits (Almonds, cashew nuts, raisins)
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut powder
  • Sugar to taste

Method:

  1. Heat the ghee over medium flame in a wide and heavy bottom pan.
  2. Add the fox nut to the pan and sauté lightly.
  3. Pour the milk into another deep non-stick pan and let it come to a boil.
  4. After the milk has boiled, put all the dry fruits and coconut powder in the milk and stir with the stirring spoon and mix.
  5.  Cook the on low flame for 15 minutes, and keep stirring after every 2 to 3 minutes
  6. Add coconut powder and sugar to the milk and let it boil on low heat for 2 minutes.
  7. Add green cardamom powder and mix well and take it off the heat.
  8. Serve warm or chilled as per your choice.
