Quick Creamy Tawa Rice Recipe:

Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked brown or white rice as per choice
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1/2 cup finely sliced onions
- 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
- 1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
- ½ cup sweet corn, cooked, boiled and drained
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 4 tablespoon fresh curds
- 1/4 cup fresh cream
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder or to taste
- Grated processed cheese as per taste
- Chopped green coriander as per taste or required, optional
Method:
- In a broad, heavy bottom pan or Tawa (griddle) over medium heat the oil.
- Add chopped onion and sauté on a medium flame until translucent.
- Add the garlic paste and sauté on a medium flame for another 1 minute.
- Add tomato, capsicum, corn, turmeric powder, chilli powder and yoghurt and sauté on a medium flame for 2 more minutes.
- Add the cooked rice, cream and salt mix well and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Creamy rice is ready to serve.
Serving suggestion:
- Garnish with finely chopped green coriander and grated processed cheese and serve immediately.
- Serve hot with raita or papads or salad.
