Puffed Lotus Seed-Fox nuts snacks (step by step with photo)
Heat the ghee or olive oil in a deep non-stick pan.
Add the fox nuts into the pan.

Add salt and chilli flakes and sauté on a medium flame for 8 -10 minutes until the nuts are crispy.
Remove from the flame, combine the fox nuts and chaat masala or mix herbs immediately transfer into a deep bowl and mix well.

Ingredient:
- 4 cups fox nuts/lotus seeds (makhana/phool makhana)
- 2-3 teaspoon olive oil or ghee
- Rock salt or salt to taste
- dry red chilli flakes as required
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala or dried herb
Method:
- Heat the ghee or olive oil in a deep non-stick pan.
- Add the makhanas and a little salt and chilli flakes and sauté on a medium flame for 8 -10 minutes until the nuts are crispy.
- Remove from the flame, combine the makhanas and chaat masala or mix herbs immediately transfer into a deep bowl and mix well.
- Once cooled, store it in an airtight container.
- Serve with hot tea or coffee.
