Ingredients:
For Panna:
- 2 large raw green mangoes
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder (jeera
- 1/2 cup sugar adjust to taste
- 2 teaspoon black salt adjust to taste
- 1/4 cup blended fresh mint leaves (mint paste)
- Pinch of asafoetida (Hing)
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper (kali Mirch)
For Serving:
- Some fresh mint leaves
Method:
- Place the mangoes along with water in a pan and bring to a boil or pressure cook the mangoes with water till soft.
- Let them cool and then peel the mangoes and get the pulp with the help of a spoon. Grind mango pulp along with water to a smooth paste.
- Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, asafoetida, mint paste and sugar.
- Mix well till sugar is dissolved.
- Divide the mixture into four tall glasses; fill it up with chilled water stir well.
- Garnish with mint leaves.
- serve immediately.
