Ingredients:


  • 250 grams Red pumpkin (kaddu)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder
  • ½ cup fresh cream
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • 2 tablespoon chopped dry fruits, of your choice

Method:


  1. boil sugar with half cup water and cardamom powder in a heavy bottom pan to make syrup.
  2. Peel the pumpkin and cut it into even size pieces/cubes. 
  3. Put them in the sugar syrup and cook.
  4. In another pan, heat the ghee and add dry fruits sauté lightly and transfer into a bowl.
  5. As soon as the pumpkin pieces are well cooked and soft, remove from syrup and arrange them in a serving bowl.
  6. Drizzle fresh cream over them and sprinkle the sautéed nuts. Serve hot or cold.
