Ingredients:
- 250 grams Red pumpkin (kaddu)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder
- ½ cup fresh cream
- 1 teaspoon Ghee
- 2 tablespoon chopped dry fruits, of your choice
Method:
- boil sugar with half cup water and cardamom powder in a heavy bottom pan to make syrup.
- Peel the pumpkin and cut it into even size pieces/cubes.
- Put them in the sugar syrup and cook.
- In another pan, heat the ghee and add dry fruits sauté lightly and transfer into a bowl.
- As soon as the pumpkin pieces are well cooked and soft, remove from syrup and arrange them in a serving bowl.
- Drizzle fresh cream over them and sprinkle the sautéed nuts. Serve hot or cold.
