Khubani ka meetha is a traditional Hyderabadi sweet treat made with apricots.

Ingredients:
For Khubani Ka Meetha:- 250 gm dried apricots(Khubani)
- 150 gm sugar or to taste
- 1 cups of water
For Garnishing:
- Apricot kernels
- Sliced and blanched almonds, pistachios
- 1/2 cup thick Cream or wiped cream
Method:
- Soak apricots in water for over night. Separate seeds from apricots and keep it a side.
- Break the seeds will find nuts (almonds) keep it a side.
- Put the apricots in the sugar along with water in a heavy based sauce pan over medium heat and cook until tender and pulpy, approximately 20-30 minutes.
- After 20-30 minutes remove the lid and mash them apricots with masher or spoon.
- Allow to cool then spoon the mixture into the individual serving glasses or bowls.
- Garnish with apricot kernels, almonds, pistachios and with wiped cream on top and serve.
