Makes 8 toast
Ingredients:
4 toasted whole wheat bread slices, cut into half
1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
4 tablespoon grated processed cheese
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
3 teaspoon corn flour
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons finely chopped capsicum
1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
1/4 teaspoon mustard (rai / sarson) powder
Salt to taste
Method:
Heat the butter in a broad pan; add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
Add the corn flour and cook on a medium flame for few seconds.
Add the milk and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes or till the sauce thickens, while stirring continuously.
Add the capsicum and mixed herbs, cheese and mix well and cook on a medium flame for a minute.
Add the mustard powder, salt and corn cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
Spread the cheese topping evenly on toasted bread.
Serve immediately.
