Ingredients:

  • 4 toasted whole wheat bread slices, cut into half
  • 1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
  • 4 tablespoon grated processed cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 3 teaspoon corn flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard (rai / sarson) powder
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat the butter in a broad pan; add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for  2 minutes.
  2. Add the corn flour and cook on a medium flame for few seconds.
  3. Add the milk and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes or till the sauce thickens, while stirring continuously.
  4. Add the capsicum and mixed herbs, cheese and mix well and cook on a medium flame for a minute.
  5. Add the mustard powder, salt and corn cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  6. Spread the cheese topping evenly on toasted bread.
  7. Serve immediately.
