Ginger Cardamom Tea is my favorite though I usually prefer Masala tea.
I love to have a cup of hot Ginger Cardamom tea in the evening this is a great way to relax and refresh.
Adding cardamom and ginger is a great way to make the tea delicious.
Lets see how to make a cup of strong and tasty Ginger- cardamom tea.

and Cardamom.

Ingredients:
- 3.5 cups water
- 1.5 teaspoon black tea leaves
- 2- inch ginger
- 4 whole cardamoms pods
- 1 cup
- Sugar to taste
Preparation:
- Peel and wash thoroughly the piece of ginger.
- Crush the ginger and cardamom pods together in a mortar and pestle.
Method:
- Boil all the ingredients except sugar and milk (tea leaves, ginger and crushed cardamom with the peel and water) in a pan on a medium flame.
- Reduce the flame and simmer this mixture for five minutes.
- Add sugar and milk and bring the mixture to a boil again on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
- Strain the tea and serve hot.
Note:
- You can skip adding the sugar while making the tea.
- Serve the hot ginger cardamom tea with snacks like pakoras, biscuits or cookies.
